Color-out-of-space Victim Poke

Another design I want to run by Flairina for her #PokemonLovecraft project. This one is based on the Skunk Cabbages that the Colour-out-of-space's meteorite mutated, first to exuberant color and size, and then to zombie-esque grey things.

The first stage is based directly on a real-world Skunk Cabbage, its Fire-type is based in the fact that Skunk Cabbage possess the rare ability to thermogenerate, creating their own heat. (well, it's rare in plants, anyway.)

The second stage is after the cabbage has been affected by the C-o-o-s' meteorite, the legend says that the first stage of the mutation causes plants to grow largere shiny, and more coloful, often appearing to sway in the wind-- without wind. I gave it a slightly feminine, vain appearance because i though t it would be much more interesting if the pokemon was aware of how beatiful it was compared to other plants.

The third stage is an advanced case of mutation, the plant has been reduced to a weak grey mass of plant matter, but for the purpose of making it desirable as a pokemon, it does retain it's fiery powers.

Firecabbage Pokemon

Gascabbage uses its ability to generate warmth to help spread its skunky smell, attracting insects to eat. It is said that it wishes nothing more than to grow beautiful and powerful, and may resort to sinister means to acheive this dream.

-Evolves to Gassolina upon level-up if Imprismalith is in the party

Since it has achieved its shallow goals through contact with Imprismalith, it always shows off, and teases other Pokemon with its glorious appearance, glowing in colors that should be impossible. It takes every possible precaution to hide its terrible smell.

The mutation in Gassolina has taken a turn for the worst causing it to lose all of its prior beauty, and casting it into a deep sorrow. All day it lies around, oozing magma, glowing faintly from inside in impossible colors.
