Engineered in Tecca prior to its annexation into the Occidental Alliance, the Robovamp is one of the few primarily human-derived creatures that is legal to create in the Occident, persisting by means of a grandfather clause. The Robovamp is always born without its left appendages, which must be replaced with prostheses. Many owners take this opportunity to create a cybernetically enhanced Robovamp, with the 'canonical' set of a palm mounted flamethrower, adrenaline lights, and MindMail technology.
The Robovamp's hair is always ablaze due to oils it secretes, and its skin surface is laced with a functional equivalent of Kevlar, protecting it from its own flaming hair. Its sweat contains calming pheromones which most outfits allow it to reroute into a spray from its robot limb.
The name Robovamp is a misnomer, as though the creature has impressive fangs, it is not a true vampire, or even strictly carnivorous.
