...Eventually, anyway. I'm still figuring out how to go about redesigning the series. This journal was mainly created to try out my new journal skin, which dA's allowing free use of as a birthday present to all deviants. I just hope it's permanent so long as you nab it now...

But, I might as well make a massive list or something. So here're the classes in Cauldron. For the most part they're just there for the sake of being there, but many classes have perks and downsides to influence their use, and creatures may have abilities that activate based on the class of its foe.
-----

VAMPIRES- A vampire is defined by Cauldron as any creature that is exclusively sanguivorous for its entire lifespan.
Biovamp- Fully organic vampire forms, engineered from natural organisms.
Memevamp- Errent creations that self adapt to vampirism as a means of feeding.

PLANTLIKES- Made partially or entirely from nonanimal living matter.
Phytoid- 'Creatures' made entirely of plant matter.
Perk: Most Phytoids can heal quickly in the presence of sunlight.
Downside: Phytoids are incapable of locomotion.

Mycoid- 'Creatures' made entirely of fungal matter.
Perk: Mycoids heal slightly by absorbing nutrients from the grave of a foe.
Downside: Mycoids are incapable of locomotion.

Zoophyte- Creatures that have both plant and animal biology.
Perk: Zoophytes can utilize both autotrophic and heterotrophic feeding methods to heal.
Downside: Vulnerable to weaknesses of both plants and animals.

Zoomyco- Creatures with both fungal and animal biology.
Perk: Zoomyco heal greatly after consuming carrion.

Mycophyte- 'Creatures' that combine plant and fungal biology.
Perk: Can heal using both organic detritus and sunlight.
Downside: Mycophytes are incapable of locomotion.

MECHLIKE- Any creature that's not fully organic.
Biomecha- Creatures with mechanical parts.
Psuedomecha- Fully organic creatures that mimic the form of a machine.

Cerebrian- A creature that is entirely brain, placed in a mechanical body.
Perk: Resists most physical damage to a greater extent than other creatures/Can be recharged similarly to a machine.
Downside: Cannot utilize conventional healing methods/Does not heal automatically as an organic form does.

PSUEDONATURALS- We don't know how these work.
Phasmid- Creatures that operate on as-yet-unknown elements that absorb fullspectrum light.
Perk: Phasmids exhibit accelerated natural healing.
Downside: All healing is disabled under any type of light.

Halloinian- Creatures inspired by various bogeymen and monsters traditionally associated with Halloween.
Cryptoid- Creatures replicated from the DNA of otherwise unknown animals.

Extrestoid- Creatures that are created using mainly alien DNA.
Perk: Not likely to be affected by toxins meant to disable earth creatures.
Downside: May be difficult to understand and command.

Elementoid- Similar to Phasmids in that they exhibit unconventional and seemingly unnatural biologies.
Perk: Often absorb or otherwise benefit from their corresponding element.

INSPIRIANS- Because sometimes an idea is ripe for the taking.
Librerian- Creatures inspired by those found in literature.
Cineman- Creatures inspired by those found in film.
Memeling- Creatures that are fairly humorous in their abilities or appearance.
Mythan/Africoid/Yokaiin- Creatures inspired by monsters from various mythologies.
Malayan- A special and bizarre brand of vampire inspired by those of ancient Malay mythology.

VIVIBIOUS- It only makes sense to have some biological classification.
Carnavian- Creatures made from only the most recently evolved vertebrates.
Perk: These creatures are often expert trackers.

Porcinian- Engineered from hogs or pachyderms.
Feesh- AKA fish.
Larvaeform- Creatures that never outgrow a larval stage.
Carapacean- Creatures engineered from arthropods.
Microid- Creatures engineered from only the simplest organisms.

Vivifossil- Creatures engineered using DNA found in the fossilized remains of animals or plants.
Perk: These creatures often exhibit impressive size and strength.
Downside: Vivifossils may be overwhelmed by a vastly different world than they ever knew.

Homonid- Creatures made to resemble humans by tweaking ape or other primate DNA.

Femme- Creatures made with a vareity of exclusively female DNA, often packed with mating pheromones.
Perk: Often distracting to simpleminded male creatures.
Downside: May be distracting to male Cauldron agents.

ENVIRONMITES- Creatures with physiology finely tuned to deal with certain environments.
Marinian- Ocean dwelling creatures.
Perk: Naturally adept underwater.
Downside: Very few Marinians are amphibious.

Abyssite- Engineered to explore the earth's abyssal planes.
Perk: Works well in low light/Immune to Cryo attacks/Immune to crushing air pressure/Naturally adept underwater/Needs very little food.
Downside: Often explode in normal air pressure.

"Air living things?"
You mean like a gaseous living being? That would be classed as an Elementoid.
